With Love was built on a simple belief: your family's information belongs to you and no one else. Every design decision reflects this.
Nothing.
With Love does not collect any personal data. We do not use analytics services, crash reporting tools, advertising frameworks, or any third-party SDKs that gather information about you.
Everything you create in the app — your routines, records, calendar events, tasks, documents, and photos — stays entirely within your control.
All data is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's CoreData framework with FileProtection.complete encryption. This means your data is fully encrypted whenever your device is locked. No one can access it without your PIN or biometric authentication.
With Love uses Apple's CloudKit to securely back up your data to your personal iCloud account. This provides:
Automatic backup — your records are safely stored in case your device is lost, stolen, or replaced.
Device sync — access your data across your own iPhone and iPad.
Restore on reinstall — if you delete and reinstall the app, your data comes back.
This backup is stored in Apple's end-to-end encrypted private database. We have no servers, no access, and no ability to read your data. Apple cannot read it either. It is your data, in your iCloud, protected by your Apple ID.
iCloud sync requires an active iCloud account with available storage. If you are not signed in to iCloud, your data remains on your device only.
Security is built into every layer of With Love:
PIN protection — your PIN is hashed using PBKDF2 with a unique salt and 100,000 iterations, then stored in the iOS Keychain. We never store your PIN in plain text. Your PIN never leaves your device and never syncs to iCloud.
Biometric authentication — Face ID and Touch ID are supported through Apple's LocalAuthentication framework.
Encryption at rest — all local data is encrypted with FileProtection.complete. Data is inaccessible when your device is locked.
Safe Mode — a built-in privacy feature that allows you to hide sensitive content from view, protected by a separate PIN.
Auto-lock — the app locks automatically when it moves to the background.
With Love does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external services used are:
Apple iCloud (CloudKit) — for encrypted backup and sync to your own private iCloud account. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Open Food Facts — if you use the barcode scanner feature, product information is retrieved from the Open Food Facts database. No personal data is sent. Governed by Open Food Facts Terms.
Since we collect no data, there is nothing for us to delete, export, or share. You have complete control:
Delete your data — remove any record, document, or profile at any time within the app. Deleting the app removes all local data. To remove iCloud data, manage your iCloud storage through your device settings.
Your PIN is stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device only. It is never synced to iCloud. If you forget your PIN, you can delete and reinstall the app — your data will restore from iCloud, and you will be asked to create a new PIN.
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page with the new date. Our commitment to collecting no data and respecting your privacy will not change.
